New Zealand Bank of New Zealand 10 Shillings 1.10.1924 Pick S231 PMG Very Fine 25 Net. A compelling portrait of King Tawhiao is displayed on this seldom offered New Zealand example. This might be a small denomination, but would most assuredly class as a heavy weight in rarity. Rare in issued form with only two graded examples registered in the PMG Census. The last pick S231 we offered was graded as a Very Fine 30 and realized $5200 in 2017. The grading company mentions staining and rust, but does not detract from the opportunity of adding this rarity to any collection.
