Korea First National Bank of Japan 1 Yen 1902 Pick 4a PMG Choice Fine 15. A surviving Meiji Year-35 1 Yen from the first series of Japanese imperial banknotes for Korea. Two varieties exist for this Pick number, with this example being the scarcer type with the stars in the four corners on the face instead of the corner numbers seen on the more common Pick 4b. Only five examples of this variety are registered in the PMG Population Report, with none surpassing the lower end Very Fine grades.
