An attractive example of this very scarce large format green and purple note, this design features facing portraits of the reigning monarch King George V; one as a watermark and one as a portrait. This is a bright, well margined note that spent a limited amount in circulation and acquired just a few pinholes as well as the usual spindle hole at issue. It displays bold ink colors on both face and back.
