Iran German Military WWI 5 Tomans on 20 Mark ND (1916-17) Pick M3 PMG About Uncirculated 50. A German 19.2.1914 20 Mark Pick 46 with the denomination 5 Tomans in Persian overprinted in red ink on both sides. This scarce overprinted issue was used by Turkish and German military forces in Mesopotamia and the Middle East during World War I. This example has the proper serial number prefix and other characteristics of an authentic note in contrast to the many counterfeits on the market.
