ATTICA. Athens. 2nd-1st centuries BC. AR tetradrachm (35mm, 15.87 gm, 12h). NGC Choice XF 3/5 - 2/5, scratches. New Style coinage, ca. 157/6 BC, Pynd- and Api-, magistrates. Head of Athena right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet decorated with a vine scroll, Pegasus above upturned voided cheek flap, protomes of four horses above visor / A-ΘE, owl standing facing on overturned amphora; ΠYNΔ monogram in left field, APY monogram in in right field, rudder below, all within olive wreath.
