Carl XIV Johan gold Ducat 1821-LB MS65+ PCGS, Stockholm mint, KM594, Fr-84, SGM-18. An impressive offering, lightly Prooflike and glowing with enchanting luster. The weakness of strike in the ear area appears on other examples to a lesser extent, perhaps indicating a later die state or excessive polishing prior to the striking of this piece.
