Ferdinand VII gold 2 Escudos 1812 C-CI MS62 NGC, Cadiz mint, KM468, Fr-313. A deceivingly rare type in Mint State condition, featuring the bare laureate bust of Ferdinand VII. Struck on a very slightly convex flan that curves minimally inward towards the peripheries only to be met by the raised denticles of the rims, creating a modest deep-dish appearance that is quite appealing to the eye. Lightly lustrous and permeated by tinges of coppery color.
