João V gold 4000 Reis 1722-R MS65 NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM102, LMB-174. A superb gem specimen of this popular series of moedas (or 4000 Reis), rare in any Mint State condition and certainly so in this grade, the finest of the date by two full points at NGC. A bright sun-yellow with hints of darker tone permeating the fields.
