Description

Vietnam - Nguyen Phuc Tuyen (1841-1847) - AR 10 lang curved silver bar (ZENO 328927, 375 g.; c. 112x31x15 mm.). Fancy forgers stamps, viz.: on rev. Rev: carved “Thap Lang” [ten lang]. Right side: “Cong Giap” [fair quality]; “Zhengzhuang” [pure silver]; Left side: “Trung Binh” [weight controlled?]; Top side: 2 stamps “Tinh” [approved]. Not a genuine Nguyên ingot, but produced in the 1960’s early 70’s (Vietnam War period) - VF, added 2 counterfeit AR bars, viz.:Tu Duc, AR 2 quan (KM.507) & Gia Long, AR 5 tien (KM.177)
