India - Kushans - Vasudeva I (ca. 191-225 AD) - AV Dinar nd., uncertain Baktrian mint, early Kushano-Sasanian imitation of Vasudeva I ca. AD230-250 (Joe Cribb: Kushano-Sasanian Chronology, Studia Iranica 19 (1990); ZENO 272169) - Gold, 7.87 g. - XF
Inscription and design are still those used by Vasudeva I at the end of his reign, but the addition of dots in the field seems to indicate a change to a Kushano-Sasanian administration. The imitation coins are marked by the gradual broadening of the flan and as the series develops a curvature of the die
