Description

The East - Black Sea - Scythia / Olbia - AE large Aes Grave (c. 470-460 BC, 231.31 g) - Head of Athena left, wearing Attic helmet / Wheel with four spokes, Π-A-Y-Σ (mint master) in angles (cf. HGC 3, 1883 (medium aes grave) - good VF. One of the heaviest coins ever, very rare!
