Late Roman mouldmade terra sigillata lagynos with figural decor. North Africa, 3rd - 4th century AD. Height 17,6cm, ø 17cm. One-handle bottle with lentoid corpus and cylindrical neck. On the neck at the front a grotesque head of a woman. On the shoulder assembly of the Gods including Diana with torch, Venus on a pedestal, enthroned Jupiter and Juno, following to right a Silen, Amor with wreath, Pan with syrinx and the sitting Mercury with purse. Starting below the handle and distributed between the figures EX OFI SAT-VRN and NI NI. Below a beautiful circle of leaves. Surface of the figures slightly rubbed off, otherwise intact. Einhenkelige Flasche mit lentoidem Körper und zylindrischem Hals. Letzterer vorne mit groteskem Frauenkopf. Auf der Schulter Götterversammlung, von links nach rechts Diana mit Fackel, Venus als Statue auf Podest, Jupiter und Juno thronend, rechts davon Silen, Amor mit Kranz, Pan mit Syrinx und sitzend Merkur mit Geldbörse. Unter dem Henkel beginnend und auf der Schulter zwischen den Figuren verteilt sowie teilweise auf dem Kopf stehend oder in Ligatur EX OFI SAT-VRN und NI NI. Auf dem Bauch schöner profilierter Blattkranz. Figuren etwas verrieben, sonst intakt.
