Judaea, Bar Kokhba Revolt. Æ Medium Bronze (14.76 g), 132-135 CE. Undated, attributed to year 3 (134/5 CE). 'Simon' (Paleo-Hebrew), seven-branched palm tree with two bunches of dates. Reverse: 'For the freedom of Jerusalem' (Paleo-Hebrew), vine leaf on tendril. Hendin 1437; Mildenberg 115 (O10/R79); TJC 289. Struck on a nice wide flan. Dark brown and green patina. Very Fine.
