Judaea, Herodian Kingdom. Herod I. Æ 2 Prutot (3.57 g), 40 BCE-4 CE. Uncertain mint in Samaria, undated, but probably RY 3 (40/39 or 38/7 BCE). Poppy on stalk. Reverse: BAΣIΛEΩΣ HPΩΔOY, winged caduceus. Hendin 1171a; TJC 46. Rare. Dark green patina. About Very Fine. Estimate Value $300 - 350
