Description
Hadrian. Æ Sestertius (24.82 g), AD 117-138. Rome, ca. AD 120-122. Laureate bust of Hadrian right, slight drapery on far shoulder. Reverse: Pietas standing right, holding small box of incense, sacrificing over lighted altar. Cf. RIC 587a (bust). Dark greenish-brown patina. Very Fine. Estimate Value $300 - 400
