1890. PCGS graded MS-67. CAC. PQ. Boldly struck and nicely toned with attractive gold and tawny tan hues on both sides. This is a scarce and low mintage date with only 80,000 struck. Here is one of the finer ones to come down to us today, with glittering superb gem surfaces and exceptional eye appeal. Should grade MS-67+. Surprisngly there are a handful of gems that exist of this scarce issue, not a lot, but enough that they can be obtained with patience. Here is one of the nicer examples we've seen with elegant toning and glorious quality which never goes out of style. Pop 26; 6 finer, 4 in 67+, 2 in 68. (PCGS # 5523) Estimated Value $6,500 - 7,000
