Macrinus. BI Tetradrachm (12.92 g), AD 217-218. Struck at Carrhae in Mesopotamia. Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Macrinus right. Reverse: Eagle standing facing, head right, holding wreath in beak; in upper left field, star; between legs, crescent; in exergue, two pellets. Prieur 836. Sharply struck on a nice full flan.
