France: Nice set with 4 (2x 2) engravings by the ABNC for the Government of the French Republic and France by Robert Savage, one of the famous engravers at the ABNC between 1891 and 1943. These vignettes were used on several stock exchange certificates and bonds, or for banknote designs. Size of the frame is about 22,5 x 15 cm, measurements of the vignettes are 8,5 x 5 and 6,3 x 6,3 cm. Very nice lot! (4 pcs.)
