POSTHUMOUS Ant, CONSECRATIO, flaming altar; Choice EF+, virtually mint state, centered on a large flan, excellent strike for this with fantastically sharp portrait. Lustrous silvered surfaces, ltly toned, only slightest hint of coarseness. Barbarous versions of these posthumous coins are common but originals like this are actually quite scarce; and this is almost impossible condition. (An EF brought $616, Kunker 11/13.)
