TREBONIANUS GALLUS, Antioch Tet., Draped & cuirassed bust r, 3 dots below/Eagle facg, head rt, Gamma betw legs, SC below, Pr.660; EF, nrly centered, complete lgnds, strong strike, good metal ltly toned with bright luster in fields. Trebonianus Gallus was a ruler famous for, well, nothing really, a Millard Fillmore of Roman emperors. (An AEF brought $271 in my 9/10 sale; EF $748, CNG 9/12.)
