R CLAUDIUS , Sestertius, RESTITUTION issue by Titus, Bust left/IMP T VESP AVG REST, Spes adv l; VF, obv centered, rev sl off-ctr with some lgnd wkness, darkish brown patina, minor roughness mainly on rev, portrait has quite strong detail. Old tag says ex Platt collection 1950. A very rare coin I was always especially proud of owning. Nevertheless, I have several other Claudius sestertii in top grades.
