LESBOS , billon 1/8 stater, 1.48 gms, 6th cent BC, 2 boar hds face-to-face/incuse square, as S3488 (£140); F+, centered, uncleaned dark patina, heads very clear. Note, 1/6 & 1/10 staters are not too rare, but this coin's weight is squarely in between, as 1/8 stater, which is actually very rare . (A F, 1/10 stater, brought $128 on $180 bid in my 11/05 sale.)
