Allectus, AD 293-296. Ancient Imitation Bronze Antoninianus. Irregular mint. IMP C ALLECTVS P F AVEG (sic), radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Allectus to right. Rev. PAX VG, Pax standing left, holding olive branch and upright sceptre. No fieldmarks or mintmark. Possibly copying London mint issue RIC 28. About extremely fine struck on a broad and heavy flan with a wonderful dark brownish patina. Very rare.
