Alexander III ‘the Great’, 336-323 BC. Silver Tetradrachm ( 30 mm, 16.48 g.). Perge. Circa 221/0-189/8 BC In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Dated CY 18 (204/3 BC). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; IH (date) in left field. Price 2930. A curious double struck, otherwise, about good very fine.
