Islands off Attika. Aegina, circa 510-490 BC. AR Obol (Silver, 8.3 mm, 0.57 g.). Sea turtle. Rev. Incuse square with 'Union Jack' pattern. Wartenberg, ‘A Hoard of Archaic Obols of Aegina (Coin Hoards VIII.20)’, Aleksanderia (2021), Obol Group IV; Meadows, Aegina, Group IIa. Very fine. Nicely toned. Rare.
