Thrace. Thracian Chersonese, circa 386-338 BC. AR Hemidrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 2.38 g.). Forepart of a lion to right, head reverted to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with alternating raised and sunken quarters; illegible symbol and a grain ear in opposite sunken quarters. McClean 4089; HGC 3.2, 1437. Lightly toned. Good very fine.
