Divus Antoninus Pius, died AD 161. AR Denarius (18.9 mm, 2.85 g.). Rome mint, struck under Marcus Aurelius. DIVVS ANTONINVS, bare head of Divus Antoninus Pius to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. CONSECRATIO, eagle standing right, wings spread and head turned left, on a garlanded altar. RIC 431 (Marcus); Cohen 155; BMCRE 48. Almost extremely fine, sharply struck.
