Attika. Athens, circa 454-404 BC. Silver Tetradrachm (20.9 mm, 17.19 g.). Helmeted head of Athena to right. Rev. AΘE, owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left; all within incuse square. Kroll 8; HGC 4, 1599. Irregular smaller flan, typical for the period. Some silver encrustation on obv. Very fine.
