Lydia. Sardis, time of Nerva, AD 96-98. AE (27.8 mm, 10.16 g.). IEPA CYNKΛHTOC, draped bust of the Senate to right. ϹΑΡΔΙΑΝΩΝ, Demeter standing left, clad in long chiton with peplos and veil, holding ears of corn in her right hand, resting with left on scepter. BMC 73-4; RPC III, 2391. Brown patina. Very fine.
