Persian king, wearing kidaris and kandys, quiver over shoulder, in kneeling-running stance to right, holding dagger in right hand, bow in left; countermark. Rev. Oblong incuse punch; countermark. Carradice, Type IV, Group B (pl. XIV, 43); BMC Arabia pl. XXVII, 10; SNG Kayhan 1041. Lightly toned. About good very fine. Nice and attractively defined example with clearly visible profile portrait and the garment.
