Antoninus Pius, AD 138 – 161, with Marcus Aurelius, as Caesar. AR Denarius (18.3 mm, 2.25 g.). Rome mint, ca. AD 141-143. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P COS III, bare head of Antoninus Pius to right. Rev. AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII F COS, draped and bare head of Marcus Aurelius Caesar to right. RIC III, 417a; Cohen 15. Some scratches. Lightly toned. Very fine.
