Claudius I, AD 41 – 54. AE As (25.2 mm, 9.13 g.). Rome mint, AD 42-43. TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP, bare head of Claudius to left. Rev. [CERES] - AVGVSTA, Ceres seated left on high throne with corn ears and torch; S C in exergue. RIC I2 94; von Kaenel, Type 73. Dark thin patina. Very fine.
