Great King with kidaris and kandys in kneeling-running attitude on exergual line to right, holding strung bow, and apple-tipped spear over right shoulder with point downwards, quiver at left shoulder. Rev. Oblong incuse punch. Carradice, Type IIIb A/B (pl. XIII, 27); BMC 40 pl. XXIV, 24. Extremely fine. Some encrustation on obverse. Attractive gold piece of Achaemenid Persia!
