Lydia. Mostene, 2nd century BC. AE (22.5 mm, 7.87 g.). Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΛVΔΩΝ / MOΣΤ[ΗΝΩΝ]; Youth rider on horseback to right, holding labrys; EP to left, monogram to right. BMC, p. 161, 1-2; SNG Tübingen 3729; SNG Copenhagen 284. Earthen deposits. Green patina. Very fine. Rare issue. Interesting overstrike!
