Thessaly. Larissa, circa 356‑342 BC. AR Drachm (19.5 mm, 6.21 g.). Head of the nymph Larissa facing, turned slightly to left, wearing ampyx, pendant earrings, and necklace with central bead. Rev. ΛΑΡΙΣΑΙ, bridled horse grazing to left. Lorber 1992, 25.1; Lorber, Early; BCD Thessaly I, 1142 var. Good very fine. Rare variety!
