Constantinople mint, struck 1059-1067 AD. +ΘKE ROHΘ around, MP-ΘV across fields, Mary standing facing on footstool, nimbate and with her hands raised, floral ornaments to left and right of head. Rev. +ΘKE RO-HΘEIKWN-CTANTINW-ΔECPOTH-TW ΔWKA in five lines, decorative lines above and below. DOC 6d; Sear 1851. Some areas of flatness, otherwise good very fine with an excellent grade of the silver. Very Rare.
