Trajan Decius, 249 - 251 AD. AE Double Sestertius (35.5 mm, 32.5 g.). Rome. IMP C M Q TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Trajan Decius to right. Rev. CAESS /DECENNALIA/ FEL/ S C in four lines, within a wreath. A curious example originally with the Felicitas reverse, completely transformed (tooled) into an exceedingly rare variety with the reverse known arguably only from a Dupondius of Trajan Decius.
