Description
Achaemenid Empire, time of Artaxerxes I to Xerxes II, circa 455-420 BC. Gold Daric (17 x 13 mm, 8,38 g.). Persian Great King in kneeling-running stance to right, holding spear and bow; quiver over shoulder. Rev. Rectangular incuse punch. Carradice Type IIIb A/B. Good very fine. Well centred.
