Thessaly, Larissa, circa 344-337 BC. AR Trihemiobol (11 mm, 1,12 g.). Head of the nymph Larissa facing, turned slightly to the left, wearing ampyx, pendant earring, and simple necklace. Rev. ΛΑΡΙ // [ ΣΑΙΩΝ] Thessalian cavalryman, wearing petasos and chlamys holding whip, riding horse right. BCD Thessaly II 327; HGC 4, 475. Nicely toned, nearly good very fine. Rare denomination.
