Michael VIII standing facing, wearing stemma with pendilia, loros over divitision, holding sword and akakia; in field l. and r., X over M Beneath l. B and B (retrograde). DOC (38); Sear 2256. Very fine. Of a greatest rarity despite the defect and missing small part still charming and collectable coin with exceptional iconography and particular style. The important details are very well preserved, metal in stable grade.
