Septimius Severus, 193-211 AD. AR Denarius (18 mm, 2,84 g.). Rome, 200-201 AD. SEVERVS AVG PART MAX Laureate head of Septimius Severus to right. Rev. PROVID AVGG Providentia standing to left, holding wand over globe in right hand and sceptre in left. BMC 197. RIC IV 166. RSC 586. Good very fine with a bold portrait.
