Bithynia, Nicaea, Antoninus Pius 138-161 AD. AE (19 mm, 4,33 g.). AVTO KAICAP ANTΩNEINOC Bare head of Antoninus Pius right. Rev. NIKAIEΩN Griffin seated right, placing left fore-paw on wheel. RPC IV online -, cf. 5900. Almost extremely fine, Extremely Rare type of a fine style and undoubtedly the best known example.
