Maximinus I, AD 235-238. Sestertius. (33,1 mm. 28,6 g.). AD 237-238, Rome. IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. VICTORIA AVG S-C, Victory walking right, holding wreath and palm branch. RIC 67; Sear 8339; Cohen 100, BMCRE 108. Good Very Fine. Unusually heavy and well struck sestertius, absolutely intact.
