Akarnania, Medion. Circa 300-250 BC. AE (13,7mm, 1,81 g.). Head of Athena wearing a crested Attic helmet to right. Rev. Owl standing right with a facing Head slightly right ME on the left field. HGC 4, 892; Slg. BCD Akarnanien 342.2. Extremely Rare very similar to Solidus Numismatik, Online Auction 15, 20 May 2017, lot 56 (this example is with ME on the right field). Somewhat porous surfaces, otherwise Very Fine + with a nice glossy dark green patina. Extremely Rare and undoubtedly the best known.
