Kings of Macedon. Alexander III the Great. (336-323 BC.). Æ (16,5 mm, 2,95 g.). Amphipolis mint. Struck under Antipater, ca. 332-326 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin Rev. Eagle standing right on thunderbolt, head left; ivy leaf above. Price 28. Corroded edge and some pitting, otherwise about Very Fine. Scarce lifetime issue.
