Kings of Macedon. Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC.). AR Tetradrachm (29mm. 16,32 g.) Aspendos. Dated CY 23 (Circa 190/89). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin. Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ. Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. With countermark Seleucid anchor below the throne, in left field, ΑΣ KΓ (date). Price 2902. Nicely toned, Very Fine.
