Eastern Variety or imitation of Pictones ?. Gilded AE Drachm (13,5 mm, 4,33 g.) 2nd-1st. Century BC. Male head with long curly hair with an almond eye right. Rev. Warrior on horseback wearing petasos, holding long spear (on the reverse of pictones holding shield). Lack of gilded surface on some areas, otherwise Very Fine. Or imitation of the remarkable motif from the Kyzikos EL Stater with an image of a Philip II as a rider Von Fritze 168? Apparently unpublished and highly interesting type. Extremely Rare and presumably Unique.
