Thrace, Hadrianopolis. Gordian III, AD 238-244. AE. 15.09 g. 29.52 mm.
Obv: ΑΥΤ Κ Μ ΑΝΤ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟϹ ΑΥΓ. Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III, right.
Rev: ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ. Apollo standing facing, holding plectrum in right arm raised over his head, and lyre standing on tree stump entwined by serpent.
