Calabria,Tarentum. AR Stater, 7.82 g 22.08 mm. Ca. 340-335 BC.
Obv: Two horses walking to the left; on the first, nude ephebe seated left, both hands held out behind his horse’s head; behind him, Nike flying to left crowning the rider; to left, artist’s signature ; below, .
Rev: Phalanthos, nude, riding on dolphin to left, but turning his body back to the right and spearing fish, swimming below, with a trident held in his right hand; to right, raised square; below, above waves.
