John II Comnenus, AD 1118-1143. AE, Half Tetarteron. 1.92 g. 16.71 mm. Thessalonica.
Obv: ΔΙ / ΜΙ - [T / RO / I]. St. Demetrius nimbate, facing, no beard, standing, holding jeweled scepter in right hand and shield in left hand.
Rev: [+ IW] - ΔΕC. Crowned bust of John II facing, wearing jewelled chlamys, holding labarum and cross on globe.
